In which I talk about my short but awesome field trip to La Grange last week to hang out with Jennifer R and see Michelle’s quilt at the Texas Quilt Museum, a quick mention of a quilt top I quilted & bound for a friend, and my spanking new DIY dead bar for my Gracie King Frame!
In which I talk about various and assorted things I’ve been working on, including QAYG, Linus top, organizing, and more. Sorry if the editing is choppy but I was trying to cut the length down as much as I could without affecting the continuity too much.
In which I show more stuff I’ve been quilting (Logey Bear Leads the Way – 2019 Project Linus Mystery Quilt) and crafting (you’ll have to watch to find out!). Wishing you the happiest holiday season you can muster.
In which I show my first top Project Linus top quilted on my new Moxie, and a couple updates to the Project room like shorter window covering and a home made “handi hammock” under my Loft frame. I should plow through this backlog of tops pretty quickly, I think! Just trying to decide which one I’ll quilt next! #quiltingwithmoxie
I quilted a thing! It’s trimmed and ready to bind. If I have enough of the yellow backing left I will just bind it with that. Hopefully I will. Y’all this is epic! I’m so glad to be quilting again! Woo!!
In which I talk about digging myself out from under Scrap Mountain and a brief bit about The Saga of The Quilting Frame. This week is a bit more Tell than Show. Hopefully next week will be more Show. Take care and have a crafty week!
In which you get to see the finished Halloween Quilt top, yay! I know it’s only the first week of September, so I guess that means I have time to make Halloween Quilt #2… and so I did. Or at least started it. Hopefully the top will be finished by next week’s video.
A wee bit of crafty since last week. If only I had taken a photo… Anyway, here’s a bit of a ramble about why I’m not piecing and why I’m not quilting, and why I committed a random act of knitting over the weekend. I am seriously loling at the still in the video preview, ROFTL!
In which I show a new quilt in progress, this time for me me me! Also an update on the stitch regulator saga and new glasses… Sorry I’m so out of it, didn’t get enough sleep last night and have a bit of a headache, not to mention my blood sugar was low. All combined to make me sound half asleep!
In which I speedily show you what I’ve been up to over the past week. Yep, I’m making things again and that makes me so happy. So yay for that! Just think how happy I’ll be when I can start quilting again.
