Yeah for a new job. Your skirt is cute, twirling with a full skirt is fun.

I am so very happy for you finding this job, and my deepest wish is for it to work out so that you can have your own space for you and your furballs and floofy skirts! You skirt is pretty, I have so missed seeing you twirl!

Love to see you twirl.
On the circle skirt–is it long enough to just cut an inch (or whatever you need) from the top of it? This should make the center (waist) opening bigger and you can just put a new waistband on it. I haven’t seen it, but on the one I picture, this may work.
Beautiful pen!
Seamstressing from home? PERFECT! You look great!
Hey–I’m looking for someone to sew blocks for me. Just repetitive blocks for quilts I have designed and want to sell. If you are interested in just sewing blocks (I will provide the pattern, thread, and fabric), let me know. It’s boring and I don’t know if you have time, but if you are interested we can talk about pay. Some are paper-pieced and some are traditionally pieced.

I could definitely recut the waist of the circle skirt as you suggest…but I quite like the longer length, and I’m already thinking of rehemming it anyway, which will shorten it a bit too.
I sent you an email about the quilt blocks. Just felt like the comments section wasn’t the best place to hash out details. Hope you don’t mind!

Let us know how your skirt goes. I’m sure you’ll figure it out and it will be beautiful and twirly.
