Video is a little late due to some issues with not knowing how to use the editing software on my new-to-me desktop. Hopefully I’ll have the time, energy, and creative mojo to start posting more frequently again!
I didn’t feel like recording, but I have been working on things! My first knit scarf has been cast off the needles and my second one has begun. 1st scarf still needs to have the ends woven in and for the whole thing to be blocked as it is currently SUPER curly! After much consideration and a couple of false starts, I’m saving my more complicated knitting plans for a future project in favor of the simple seed stitch for scarf no.2
Apologies for the fluctuating sound quality and volume. I think I may have had my finger on the phone mic during some parts.

I think I’m going to break down and get one of their row counter pins!
This video wound up being delayed by a week due to a combination of editing/computer issues and how upsetting I found the political events of last week. Anyway, the final gift has been given! I actually prerecorded this on Monday, but wasn’t feeling up to editing and posting on Tuesday as I had a pretty intense dentist appointment that morning. Also my ancient laptop was having a beast of a time saving the edited video! Nail polish is Revlon in the color Saucy, because I’m a sucker for a good name. Trousers update: I managed to rip the butt seam a bit doing yoga…so I might do a full butt adjustment when I make up the pattern this week. Thankfully the seam is repairable!
She’s home! Surgery went well.
Jennifer is out of surgery and in the post-op recovery room now. I’ll let you all know when she gets home, and that will be it for today’s updates.
