The zipper pouch is really nice. I think the wrist-wrap is a great length.
Can’t wait to see your finished quilt when the pattern is released.
Have a great week.

Thank you! I’m hoping to get it quilted in the next couple weeks — don’t want to add it to my Someday pile (which is already exceedingly large!).

That is a nice zipper pouch, the detachable wrist strap is a cool extra to have on it.
The clam shells are looking good!
Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.

Thank you! I did hear back that he’s really happy with it, so I’m glad to hear that!
I think it’ll be two weeks before I post again, but I should be able to show the new top in that video along (I hope) with my finished patchwork quilt! There’s still a lot of quilting to do, but I think I’m going to finish the bits around the outside and then bind it and finish the interior quilting later. Haha. (Or never.)

Your pouches always make me want to make pouches. That is a thing that doesn’t often happen to me!
The quilt you’re quilting on looks great, too!

Haha… well, I tend to make the easy to sew pouches, so if you ever really get the urge to make one I can direct you to the satisfyingly quick patterns. (Or I can just say so now: #1 is the Wide Open Mouth pouch from Noodle Head. I use the first half of her zipper insertion method to make my little zippy pouches, though I drafted my own pattern for the size/shape.)
