  1. Your Majesty, the foot with the roller looks interesting. Seems like a great idea for your purposes.
I’m so happy for Jennifer R – that hobo bag is really nice!
What beautiful Metro bags….love the fabrics.
Wow, that aeroplane bag is magnificent. You have some beautiful things in progress. I spent over a year making bags…just every pattern I could find. It was so fun.
Great to see you. Have a great week.

  2. You have no idea how ridiculously excited I am! I love the bag! You did a fabulous job on the HP clutch I got for my daughter, I can’t wait to use this one!

You really seem to have found your thing. Every bag you make looks amazing! I’m glad you are getting orders. I will be sure to flaunt your work with my friends.

I can only imagine the anxiety will be very high going into this. One of my kids has 3 pretty intense surgeries over an 18 month period back at age 10. They weren’t heart surgery but it felt pretty scary. I knew the doctors were amazing and that everything would be fine. That logic isn’t that helpful during everything. Hugs to you and yours.

Keep those fantastic bags coming! You got some mad skills!

    1. I am playing cath up on my replies! Thanks for texting me that it arrived! I know my sister was really hoping to win it because she saw it in person. If she doesn’t order one I might surprise her with one for Mother’s Day.

Daycare is super slow so I hope the bags will help with both Jaxons fundraising and become a source of extra income for me.

Each day I feel a bit more unraveled! But I personally spoke with his urgeon and recently read a mom’s story of how he helped her and her daughter… that helped a lot!

Just picked up 4 orders for larger bags and a backpack! Now to just get them done! These I will have to just donate a portion to Jax – I need to apply some toward business expenses and supplies.

  3. Your bags just keep getting better and better. You might try lessening the presser foot pressure or raising it a bit if your machine offers that option . It might help with the teflon foot and/or the roller foot.

  4. That’s too bad about the teflon foot… I’ve contemplated buying one in the past when I used vinyl a little more often, but I wound up just sewing with really thin paper (tissue paper) over it all that tore off easily and kept the foot from sticking to the vinyl. It wasn’t perfect but it worked okay. (Sewing machine feet are often too expensive.)

These bags are looking fantastic! The big aeroplane bag with the sparkly vinyl is wonderful.

    1. Yes I was so excited to get the teflon foot too – but this roller one is awesome… just need to learrn and remember where my 1/8 and 1/4 marks fall on it

Thanks – that is actually cork fabric with gold flecks! It was my 1st time using it and I really like how it sews!

  5. And, I’m behind again!!

A friend of mine swore by her Teflon foot, but if it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work, right?! I have used a roller foot. Those are gems!

I love seeing what you’re doing with all the different fabrics you use.

You’re more than welcome to put sales links on the WordPress. 🙂

    1. Dont feel bad, I’m always a day late and $5 short!

I am loving the roller foot, but now my Brother machine locked up on me so I used my Redeye to finish the navy bag…. it’s always something. I will try the teflon foot again one day, just not anytime soon.

I think I dream fabrics… not sure if that’s is a good or bad thing! Lol
