In which we revisit the Wonder Woman quilt so you can see the entire quilt and I share the first finish from Liza’s donation. Also, crochet that I almost forgot about!
I was a little bit busy this last week. 😀
TTMT video makers, SWAP DETAILS ARE HERE!
In which I share how I WAS caught up and some GOOD NEWS!
There are a few weird sound issues in this video. If you wait until the end, you’ll find out what’s up with that.
I hope you’re all well! ♥
A day late and cool again! This one is all about finishing up charity quilts for The Linus Connection. There’s a bit of personal health stuff, too. Feel free to skip over that if you like.
I love you all and hope you’re doing okay today. ♥
Hello, dear friends. This is a very short one. I recorded with a raging headache, which has fortunately now passed. I’m thinking of each and every one of you and hope you’re well. ♥
In which I finished 5 quilts for The Linus Connection! ♥
In which I talk a little bit about Quiltcon and a whole lot about what I worked on over the last week.
We walked around and around and around Quiltcon and enjoyed all the fabulous quilts, the vendors, and each other’s company. The charity quilts were by far my favorites. I might be a bit biased because: A) charity quilts! and B) I saw quite a few of my text fonts floating around out there.
I neglected to say that Jennifer R brought TWO BAGS of Linus quilts she’d quilted, one bag from tops I’d given her to quilt from Linus and the other bag full of her quilts to donate as well as one from Laura from Fandom in Stitches. I’ll absolutely do a show and tell of those quilts soon! If you need a long arm quilter, she is AMAZING.
I forgot to mention two things in my video: Jewells had enough of the bicycle fabric for me to finish the nine patches for the Disappearing Nine Patch and I did get the four quilts for Oz Comfort Quilts off in the mail last week! I want to give a special shout out to my friend Cynthia for helping with shipping for that! ♥
A note about how very tired I look…I recorded this a week ago and hadn’t quite recovered from Retreat. I’m finally all rested up and feeling my normal self!
As you can probably see, I’m feeling much better today! I was sick most of the week and just started feeling like myself again yesterday. ♥
Several people have asked for the size of the tote I used for the 2/12″ strips. It’s currently packed for my sewing adventure, so I will try to get that to you next week. I can tell you it’s a Sterlite container and it’s 9″ wide on the inside. That’s how wide I folded the strips. 😉
