Well do I remember those crazy end of the year days! I am glad you had a little time to yourself to work on a charity quilt. I like what you’re doing, can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I sort of remember those end of year days but it has been so long ago (25+ years). I will have to say that I really do not miss that much at all. I do miss drama club, talent shows, ROTC demonstrations, etc. though.
I think the charity quilt is going to be lovely.
I like your charity project. I’ve been wanting to do a foundation paper version from my many scraps.
My youngest graduated high school last year (2017) and it’s taken awhile to get used to not having anyone in school. I don’t miss the crazy but I do miss the routine.
It’s taken me a while to get used only one in school, but she is busier than both my boys combined! She should be home for another 6 yrs but this one is talking away high schools! Ahhh I’m hoping for a local school obviously! I don’t mind it at all. Just a tad sleepy
I hope you get a chance to relax a bit now and get your crafty on. My daughter didn’t really participate in any extracurricular activities so my end of years weren’t as busy, except for senior year of course.
I like your idea for the charity quilt, seems like a fun way to use up strips.
She does more than both my boys combined with activities. It’s a lot but I prefer her to be busy during her tween years. Keeps her out of trouble. And as the old saying goes “the days are long but the years are short” is so true. My oldest is 25 and I still am a bit blown away by that. So I am trying to enjoy my time with kids remaining at home.
As you will see, I’m behind on my video watching too. Can’t wait to see the charity quilt. Need an idea for one for this fall. I’m sure I’ll see progress if I can catch up on the videos.

It turn out so lovely! Honestly would have want to make it for myself. I am definitely going to use the 60 degree triangle more. I really like it.
