In which I show you some recent fabric donations I brought home from Project Linus last weekend, along with my finished Linus quilt. I also brought home some of this lovely lady’s book collection, to go through and see if I wanted to save any of the patterns, but I totally forgot to show you those! So I will try to remember to show you those next week.
Thanks again for the green and yellow quilt top, Susan!
In which I show off the totally finished and ready to mail Grateful Dead Quilt. From just about every angle. And pics! Even a bit of music. For more music, collectibles, and other sundries, check out the official Grateful Dead website. http://www.dead.net/ . They have some live recordings available for free, plus you can buy goodies for your “dead head” loved ones, lol.
It’s done!!! *throws confetti* The Rainbow signature quilt for my chorus director is finished. Hoping to get it into her hands this week. What am I going to work on next????? Tune in next week to find out.
Rainbow Signature quilt is coming along… I ramble a bit about the folly of buying used stuff without executing due diligence, and show off my first Project Linus donation of the year. Go Pats!
Well, found an editor I can actually use, FINALLY… I did manage to find a safe download of Windows Movie Maker. It’s the 2012 version which is slightly different than what I was using, but “close enough for rock and roll”.
See my newly rearranged “Studio J” in which I now I have a piecing/basic sewing/fabric wall, design wall, and giant contraption wall, as well as a cutting area that takes up the middle of the space. Stay tuned to see if it stays this way or if I… *gulp* … tear it all down and start over.
Susan, I wanted to make sure to thank you for the awesome surprise package of precuts you sent me. Thank you thank you! They will definitely get used. You are a sweetheart!
Bullet points of what’s going on. Speedy Project Linus quilt top. More birthday goodies. Life is good!
In which I show off a couple finished Linus quilts and cover my wall with turtles.
The Project of Doom in natural light, a new quilt top and blocks in progress. Stuff is getting done.
Things have been a little quiet in the Project Room… except for another blankie I made for Project Linus. That’s 7 for the year so far!
