I neglected to mention that ALL the scrap fabric I was clearing out is gone! Thank you to everyone who helped me clean out my overloaded stash. I hope you get lots of use out of the bits and pieces and would love to see what you do with it!
I had an entirely different cat cameo recorded for this week, but it would not import. Maybe next week!
I realized after recording that I didn’t at all mention what dishcloth pattern I use. This is my go to, it’s easy peasy and they hold up really well!
My Super Simple Crochet Dishcloth
- I Hook, cotton yarn
- Ch 21 (loosely), sc in second ch from hook, dc in next. *sc in next, dc in next* to end. Ch-1, turn.
- Repeat Until Square – sc in first st, dc in second, *sc in next, dc in next* to end. Ch 1, turn.
- Optional – sc around evenly, 2 sc in each corner. Finish off.
Well I’m late, but I did manage to record a video this morning and am just now getting around to uploading it. And I’ll apologize in advance… it’s a long one! I am currently in a timeout because of bringing home too many donations from my Project Linus meeting this weekend. So pour yourself a glass of wine or whatever potion you prefer… put your feet up and listen to the rambles of Jewells.
In which I show you some recent fabric donations I brought home from Project Linus last weekend, along with my finished Linus quilt. I also brought home some of this lovely lady’s book collection, to go through and see if I wanted to save any of the patterns, but I totally forgot to show you those! So I will try to remember to show you those next week.
Thanks again for the green and yellow quilt top, Susan!
Watching our various videos this week, I couldn’t but notice that most if not all of us make quilts, hats, baby clothing, and a variety of other things to donate to various charities.
I’d like to make a list of links for each of our respective organizations so we can share here on the TTMT blog. I think it would be a great way to share what we do and it will give our viewers an easy way to connect to the charities we support.
If you’ll leave links in comments, I’ll figure out the best way to share them here on the blog. Thanks!
Thank you all for being awesome!
EDITED to add: page in progress here! Thank you for your responses. ♥
