Your blocks are turning out wonderful! I’m not big on Valentines day either. I have always thought it was for people who are dating and anniversaries are for married couples.
You have no idea how happy I was when I checked the status, I was sure it was gonna be retuned to me. Whoever made the final decision to make that happen has my thanks.
Oh no worries about the quilt show. I dot. Even know how much I will be there because that’s the first public performance week for UIL follow by the competitions days. I guess everything before that is “clinic” days… good grief
Yes I will most definitely be adding pins to my
Boa. 😁
I really love how your blocks are working out. I just realized some of the shows I am missing tees for my tshirt quilt might have a design on FiS. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. I’ll have to look there for the shows I was in that I don’t have a tee for.
Are you loving your Juki? You seem to be cranking out the blocks so I assume it’s working ok for you.
I love how you throw in there like an aside, “Oh I ran a half-marathonthis weekend”. To paraphrase Monthy Python, “Girl I couldn’t run a half-marathon if you put 4 thousand volts through me”, lol.
You definitely may find some of the blocks or have them designed!
I am loving the Juki. It’s an adjustment to use something different at so many years but I do like it. I’m not sure I’m sewing faster than I did with my old machine with it. Doing two at once feels faster.
Lol I guess I know so many people that run full marathons and Ultras that a half seems small. I know it’s not but when you know people running 100 plus miles… 🤷🏻♀️
I’m thankful to be able to do it.
Hey Jennifer! Those blocks came out great! Can’t wait to see it all together! Bravo 👏🏻 on your 1st half marathon. I’m there with you in spirit on the sideline!😄
Thank you
I’m pretty happy with them. I haven’t had a fandom that I was super excited to do in a while. So this one is fun to be working on.
Not my first 1/2, just my first for this year. Like a psycho I signed up for two more this spring. One of them starts and finishes at Minute Maid park.
So that will be cool! 😁
The theater blocks are fantastic. The Beauty and the Beast looks amazing.
Congratulations on your personal best for the half marathon. I’d run with you, but I would be way behind you. I’ve been keeping up with my mile a day run/walk on the treadmill. But my treadmill is starting to get tired, as it’s stopped in me twice in the past week in mid workout. With icy/snowy roads I don’t want to get back outside. I love running in 36° weather. Anyway, good for you.
Thank you on all fronts. I am pretty happy with the blocks. It’s been a while since I was excited about a fandom. I think it’s more about the surprise.
I would have loved 36° when I live in Minnesota, Ohio, or Pennsylvania. Living in the south it feels cooler than I want. I usually end up cold the first few miles but if I dress warmer …🥵
This time the wind was pretty insane. So I was fairly cold the whole time. My half in November was colder with less wind. I’m bothered me less.
My hair has a mind of its own. I haven’t used hair color in I think 10 or more years. I have always had a lot different colors in my hair and it just get more noticeable as I age. I have plenty of complaints about my hair of the years but I have always liked the variety of colors I have.

The theater blocks look fantastic so far. Fantastic fabrics, of course!
I was so hoping to make your quilt show but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
You are a running fool! Good for you, lady!
The boas ARE SO GOOD. How fun will it be for to go sewing?! I’m thinking we need pins on there, too…
