Hey y’all! this week I give a brief update on the SW Sonoma Sunset Star quilt as well as talk about (and show progress on) a new, scrappy quilt I’m making for a friend. I’m having so much fun creating this scrappy stash quilt that I think I’m going to have to incorporate at least one more of these into my projects this year. There is something so satisfying about stretching your creative muscles to work only with items you already have on hand and still make something beautiful. I cannot recommend a project like this more, it really is feeding my creative soul.
What’s currently under your presser foot?
Wow! You are moving the quilts right along. Yeah for using fabric from the stash. It’s going to ta neat quilt when it’s done.

I guess the timing was just right for this project, as my brain seemed ready to tackle it finally.

I’m excited by how excited you are! It’s so amusing that you trying to distract me turned into an obsession. It look amazing, and as usual, Grunge was the perfect choice!!

This project has been on the peripheral for so long it’s just awesome to be tackling it. I guess my brain just hasn’t been ready to tackle it until now, and once I started it was like a boulder rolling downhill.
