Sugar Plums, nah plum colored thread. The Tshirt quilt has brown fossil fern sashing and backing. When I was picking thread for this quilt I tried several different colors. Then I picked one that was very different and this time it was the plum colored thread. I really liked it one the tshirts and the brown fabric.
Then I was able to finish the binding on the shop hop wall hanging.

You are right that thread looks great on that quilt. It blends really nicely. I do that, too when I am choosing thread, sometimes it’s hard when there are a lot of contrasting fabrics in a quilt.

I do love when a thread works out and it’s so unexpected! The plum is very blendy and works perfectly on the quilt.
