I think this one is pretty self-explanatory, I went to Material Girls for Project Linus this past weekend and, not surprisingly, was brought a bunch of orphan blocks and pieces of blocks. So I will talk about and show you a bunch of those and something else new to the Project Room. Now it’s your turn… upload some videos, Ladies!
So many orphan blocks! Omg, lady, we need to Quilt All The Things so we can retreat again!
What a fantastic case for your serger. I look forward to seeing what kind of TLC you give it. ☺️

I am pretty sure I’ve seen a video with someone replacing the inside of that type of suitcase or typewriter case or something, I just have to find it. I’m hoping to even add a pocket for accessories, etc. SO STURDY. And the price was perfect, lol

So many neat orphan blocks. Add eyes and a tongue to the backwards “S” and turn it into a snake. So many neat circles. Maybe a circles quilt with the wedding ring block in the middle. So many possibilities it will be fun to see what you create.
Neat case for your serger. A little TLC and you are good to go.

What a fantastic suggestion to make the S into a snake, thank you!
I think it will be fun to fix up my serger case.

That one looks like the beginnings of a wedding ring quilt. I briefly thought about making one a few years ago and the squashed that idea. As soon as I seen the basket I thought about apliquing some tulips on it and making a pillow. So cute. I have also enjoyed watching everyone’s Huston returns. Our vedio time was amazing. Totally lifted my spirits.

Yes someone was probably using scraps to try the pattern/technique for the wedding quilt. I think that would explain the interesting fabric choices. The basket will definitely be used, too, it’s a well-pieced block!
You were definitely with us there in spirit and we will make sure next time you can join us, where ever that may be!
