Sounds like a good substitute gig! Making pillowcases is great practice. Also drawstring bags to carry chargers for travel or what have you.
I am totally with you on the lack of inspiration at home. I’m really also hoping the festival will jumpstart some sewing, and also inspiration for some classes to teach at the shop. I have too much stuff and have to dig through it when looking for something. Not to mention the entire room is just a horrible mess.

The way you pulled your three yard quilts is how I pull for orphan block. Just grab and go!
