I love the look of that quilt from your class, but I probably wouldn’t use that ruler either. I have been wanting to try a bit of curved piecing, I’d rather do that as curved piecing than applique, I think.
I love that cabinet, it’s perfect for quilt storage. I have actually been keeping my out out for something similar when I am thrifting and on craigs list

I have very similar feelings about my AccuQuilt! I really have no interest in templates, all of my rulers are squares and rectangles! I do love what you came up with though it’s super cute!
