  1. You have been on a roller coaster ride the past couple of weeks. I am so sorry about the death of your friend and that the stress of getting the getting the show together without her. Best of luck with that,
I like your mother’s tote bag. The way you talked about your mother reminds me so much of my grandmother who died when I was 6, What i remember most about her was how tiny she was and how long her hair was. My dad was 5’5″ and when he held his arm straight out, she could walk under it. When took her hair down and brushed it oi reached the floor while sitting or standing.

  2. My sympathy to you on the loss of your quilting friend, Judy. It sounds like she left big shoes to fill. Since she was the chair of the quilt show for many years, that will be a challenge for your guild.

Your Tula quilt turned out fabulous. I love the fabrics.

  3. So sorry about your friend.
I am sure you guys will pull a wonderful
Tribute show together to honor her.

I’m love your Tula quilt. You are correct the backings are so soft!

The bag for you mom is cute. My grandma was tiny. She only wore stilettos to look talker. Lol she was a spicy one.
Got her Drivers License at 72 after moving to Florida.
She lived in NYC ( and surrounding boroughs) all her life and never needed to drive.

    Happy Crafting

  4. It sounds like even to the end your friend made the show and guild a huge priority, I’m glad she was able to share about the binders before she passed and I am sorry for your loss. I’m sure you will all do her proud with the show.

The tula quilt is so pretty, I would love to know the name of the block if you remember it.

Very cute tote! I love orange too. I am sure your mom will love it.

My version of My Favorite Things is quilted with the same pattern as your Tula quilt. It’s such a fun design!

Sweet tote bag for your mom. This is definitely your orange year!
