  1. I love Tula Pink fabrics. The Queen of Hearts quilt is turning out fabulous. Yeah for retreat. It looks like your were productive in completing some tops. And to win several door prizes, those are all great. The fabric finds are amazing, more Tula Pink. The “bull’s-eye” fabrics in both color ways are interesting and I have been thinking about ordering them for my shop.

Glad you were able to spend some time with your son.

Those circle panels are so fantastic, wow. Just gorgeous!

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. That’s rough

Yes southerners like their Easter weekends. We had a 4 day school break here. Never ever would have happened in the northern states we’ve lived. Always check with them before the drive as they can have some weird hours.

I love what you did with the Tula top. And omg nice haul!

    Happy Crafting

  4. I have a Sew Together bag that Alida made for me years ago. I just love it!

It’s great to hear you enjoyed your retreat. I can imagine it being weird to start. Lots of great finishes, can’t wait to see them quilted! Beautiful fabrics! I have some ombres I haven’t used yet… I need to! Wow, winner, winner! Lots of goodies there.

I’ve helped to sort estates that have been donated to Linus and that is the primary reason I don’t buy much fabric. Seeing fabrics that just accumulate and don’t get used really bums me out. I hope you can give your $20 of fabric a good life.

I’m sorry to hear about your mom. That’s always rough news.

  5. The Sew Together bag looks great! The 3-yard Tula quilt looks really great.. I like the adjustments and also that you found a good way to use the faces… they’re not always easy!

That big circle print is kind of neat.. I think it’d work well for a table topper or a baby quilt, just as a whole cloth quilt.

Sounds like you had a fun, productive time, anyway!
