I think you did a fantastic job on the robes! I bet those kids will play in those all the time. My daughter used to wear hers out to lunch with my mom, which drove my mom crazy but I always loved it.
I used to love untangling yarn, there was a time when I found it an incredible zen thing to do. Sadly those days are over, lol. But if she wants to do it I say here you go, have at it!
The robes turned out adorable. I love the smiley faces too. Yeah for getting back to a UFO. The yarn is beautiful. If you have a student that wants to untangle your yarn, take a skein or two in each week. You don’t want to overwhelm her. Does she know how to crochet? Maybe, you could teach her.
