TTMT #403 – jewells68 – May 25, 2021 – I Quilted a Thing

I look like I smell a skunk in this freeze frame! lol

In which I show the Chocolate Box quilt I made for Project Linus that I finally quilted and am ready to trim and bind, as well as talk about the Rock and Roll quilt I started last week. Moxie wants to thank Molly for the awesome thread she mailed for Moxie to try, it is working great!

    1. It felt good to quilt again, even if I did have to do it in Manual Mode. I should be able to show off the Rock quilt in my next video. I think it might just about be the biggest one I’ve quilted on Moxie!

    1. I’m still having to quilt in manual mode, but I don’t mind when it’s a simple E2E meander. It’s super fast nd I’ve really gotten my sweet spot nailed down.

  1. The quilt is adorable and I love that backing. I have the quilt top that I mentioned a couple of months ago to send to you and I’m also sending some fabric you can use for backing for this one and maybe one or two more.

By the way, I love your hair.

    1. I started that yellow and green chocolate box quilt in 2017! So I’m super glad to be turning it in soon.

Take your time, I have quite a pile to get quilted for Linus, although I’m hoping to get through them pretty quickly now that I have my setup working better for me.

Thank you so much! It’s driving me crazy because it’s all over the place, but I still need to find someone to cut it for me. I think I would go shorter if I had someone I could rely on for a consistent cut every 6 or 7 weeks.

  2. The hot air balloons on the back of the quilt is great. Love the way that quilt turned out. So glad you are quilting with Moxie.
