TTMT #90 Craft Room and Grandsons Quilt

Health update- I go for a checkup Monday with the GI Doctor. I am feeling much better. I did have another pain block done on my back. They usually last about 8-10 months, but this last one only lasted a couple months. Not sure why, hopefully this one will take.

  1. Sorry you are having some health issues. Getting older is such a bummer on the body. Look forward to seeing the changes to make in you sewing areas. My sewing room looks like a bomb went off. I wiish I could find some places to donate items but can’t find any – which is so weird. Take care.

  2. Talking about organizing your fabrics has got me to thinking about re-doing mine for the zillionth time. I think I have fabric in 3 different places and maybe I should simplify. I had my large pieces separate too. I might take mine and put it with the fabrics that are in color order. Good luck with your organizing!

  3. I am reorganizing the sewing room also. Your quilts are fabulous and the quilting is beautiful. Take care.

  4. It’s good to see you, lady! I hope your check-up went well and that your back is behaving.

We all seem to be in the organizing mood just lately!

Your grandson’s quilt is going to be very fun. I can’t wait to see it. You always come up with great ideas!

  5. So good to see and hear you again! I hope you get some relief for your back. Back pain can get in the way of so many things we like or even have to do in our day to day lives.

It feels good to just take a deep dive into our stash and find ways to make it easier to work with. That’s been my goal lately and every time I do it I end up coming up with new plans and getting rid of some stuff to make room for something new. It just feels good.

I can’t wait to see those quilts. The quilting is just gorgeous!

I look forward to seeing Elvis get quilted, too.

  6. Ooh I hope your back is feeling better soon.
I look forward to when you can share the patterns with people. They are so cool.
My room seems to be organized for like 5 minutes at a time.
I awful about keep things bout away.

    Happy Crafting

  7. Looking forward to seeing the progress on Elvis. And the others when you can.

I have some bins that open on the front and top, but they are not very big. I love that. I also have big bins that I wish also opened on the front. I love the idea of a platform and casters. I just drag my stack around. When you show us that, let us know where you got the bins. They sound like what I need.

I’m sure Dean’s quilt will be awesome. Your plan sounds great.

Great to see you, and I hope you get some relief for your back.
