  1. Counting flowers on the wall; that don’t bother me at all . . . ‘
You always have such interesting projects going on. Thank you for the Cheshire cat trivia.

    1. Now that son’s stuck in my head, thank you. I’m at around 5 and have already lost count.

I try to keep my projects interesting. I like that Cheshire cat.

  2. The Cheshire Cat is great, I love how he disappears into the background.

Your red stars are great, thank you for joining me in the quilt along. Hopefully you’ll have a few blue blocks to go with the red ones this week.

What will those flowers look like? They are going to be big blooming beauties. I’ll watch them grow.

You keep the sewing machine humming, it must be a well oiled machine with a sharp needle.

    1. I haven’t finished the red stars. But as soon as I do, it’s on to the blue ones.

The flowers are fun. When I showed this, it was one of a set of 4. I’m up to 9 now. They just keep jumping into my head. So it’s a new series and they are fun. I will be making them in the order of the fabric arriving. This one is a little different from others–a little less flowery–and not my favorite. But still fun.

I’m not sure if it’s well-oiled, but I’m doing what I can to wear it out.

  3. I’m so glad you were happy with the Alice patterns. There’s been a lot of excitement that we finally made it to Disney themes! If you want anything else Alice, we have a huuuuge collection on FiS. I look forward to seeing what you make next.

Your big flower looks like it will be very fun!

    1. I saw all the wonderful Alice blocks. I was waiting to see if I wanted one of those are a new one, and I went with the new (no surprise). I’m doing the same with my other Disney upcoming ones. I’ve narrowed them down to some fallbacks if I prefer them to the new releases. I don’t want to make them and then wish I had waited.

The flower is fun. It’s a much bigger project than I let on, and piecing the flower is just the beginning. Enjoying it (I’m only making things I enjoy now, so that’ excellent). As long as it turns out as designed (they almost always do), it’s going to be a good time.

  4. I’m loving my giant flowers. They’re definitely big.

My YoD is very diverse–based on my diverse favorites. I have been putting off the most different block, but I think I’m ready to do it now. It’s very personal and special, so I’ve been thinking about it for a while.

    1. Thanks. i like that about him, too. I’m considering stitching around him to make him more visible, but I’m hesitant because I also like his transparency.
