Sapphire Stars quilt for my California nephew and CY-Stars Quilt for my Iowa nephew. Pattern testing of Pokemon blocks for Wendi. I am writing the patterns for both quilts. My 1st Sapphire Stars quilt hung in the 2019 Houston International Quilt Festival and they still have it. My California nephews quilt was quilted with “Swirls and Twirls”. CY-Stars was Quilted with a Fluer-des-les pattern of my own. The sun was bright today.

Wow, what beautiful finishes! I love that back one in particular. And good job on the pokeballs! Once that’s released it might be fun to do some large ones in different colors for a quilt for Project Linus. 🙂
I kept thinking you look really familiar (besides your name which is familiar from the FiS groups on FB), and then Jennifer mentioned she has met you IRL at Quiltfest in Houston a couple of times. So I went back and looked at the photos I took at our meetup in 2018 and I’m pretty sure that’s got to be where we met. 🙂 This is so fun adding yet another person to the group here!

I will have to go back and look at my photos now. But most likely we met at Houston International Quilt Festival in 2018. I will not be attending Festival this year. But hope to make it back in 2021.

I don’t think anyone is going to Festival this year. I can’t imagine them having it. Houston is out of control with CoVid right now. I think it will still be out of control when they need to make a decision.
