  1. You just do as much meandering as you need. That never gets old.

Ooooohhhh,,,I’m loving the Friendship Swap thingy!

The new masks are cute. I like the idea of a fast one. I hand my brothers a mask when I see them. I got in one brother’s car last night and he had a seat full. I asked if he had too many masks, and he said no. He wears particular ones to particular places (LSU, Louisiana, non-committal, wild-and-crazy, etc.). So that made me feel good. he gets all my “test” masks. I love how little fabric they need and how the world can have 100 Million different ones by the time we get through this thing. We can all hang them on the key rack by our doors as a reminder not to get too complacent.

I’m going to be ready to show my swap fabric by next week. I’m excited about how it’s turning out so far.

    1. Meander is definitely my happy place. ♥

I have so many more masks to make. I keep thinking I’m done and I keep not being done. Which is okay. Hopefully I’ll knock the next ones out this week.

Can’t wait to see your fabric for your swap!

      1. I make masks about 8-10 at a time. I don’t get overwhelmed with it because I don’t spend more than 1-2 hours at a time. I give them all away until the next time someone needs one and I make more. So I don’t have that mask fatigue that others do. Of course, I have made far less of them. But those I know who need them have them. That’s enough for my small part of the universe.

The fabric for the swap is coming together. The background is on today’s TTMT video (which was processing when I left home this morning).

  2. First of all boo on the indefinite postponement. I get it but boo.

I love love love Dominae’s fabrics in both, she did a fantastic job on those quilts! And as far as the meander is concerned, I’ve been using that to try to get better consistency and size in my meanders. They are all over the damn place. SO I’ve been really focusing on making them a bit more even and uniform. SO I just keep doing them and doing them. I can see improvement but i’m still nowhere near where I’d like to be. And it is VERY zen. So if that’s what you feel like doing then I say do it.

Your swap design i so perfect. I really need to settle on one by next Tuesday so I have plenty of time to execute.

Re masks, I think her video tutes are some of my favorites.

    1. I really like DIY Trefa’s tutorials. Short, sweet, and to the point!

Meh, surgery, meh. That’s all I can say about that.

I don’t know what it is about meander, but it makes me happy! S says it looks like coral, which is impossible for me to unsee!

I’m so pleased to hear how many are jumping in on the swap. It’s not quite the group project I hoped for this year, but we don’t need that much stress!

  3. So sorry your surgery has been postponed. I know you want to just get it over with.
All 4 of those quilts are adorable. You just keep on meandering my friend; you do it so well.
I wanna see the rest of the swap quilt. What I see, I like!

  4. The postponement sucks! I completely understand why but ugh.

I love meandering. It’s completely Zen feeling. Just like bubble … do what you love!
Dominae’s tops look wonderful. Happy and Cheerful as I would expect.

I can’t wait to see your swap. I’m still debating a new design or not. I am just wrapping up a few other patterns before I decide.

Oh I like that idea with a quick mask. I’m all burned out finishing up my other ones, but I’ll definitely think about it for the next round. Thank you for crediting the creator, Trefa. It really sucks how people do don’t credit the origin of their information.

    Happy Crafting

    1. My design for the swap isn’t new, but it’s a combo of several things I’d already designed. It literally just popped in my head when we started talking Friendship!

More mask making this week. There is a load of space fabric waiting for me to open!
