TTMT Swap?

***For TTMT Video Makers Only***

Hello friends!

I’ve been pondering a small swap for our video makers. I know that many of us, myself included, could use some cheer and connection to our dear friends.

With that in mind, would any of our TTMT video makers be interested in a small relatively simple swap? I was thinking possibly fabric postcards, but I’m more than open to other ideas. It could be a “swap one small thing with everyone” or “make one thing for one person” swap.

If you have not made a video in a while and think you might like to come back, this would be a perfect time!

I’d love to know your thoughts. ♥

  1. Perhaps, although I’m just now getting to the point where I’m ready to craft again. I’m not sure if my mental state could handle the pressure I always put on myself when it comes to swapping. It might be fun though. Maybe in July.

      1. I like the idea of the friendship themed wall quilt, but I suggest having a minimum dimension in addition to the maximum. Like perhaps everyone makes a 12″-18″ wall quilt… or a 14″-18″ wall quilt. I find sometimes it’s easier to think of ideas of what you want to make if there are fairly clear parameters to start with, and also there is less of the “I made a 16″ square wall quilt and I received one the size of a post card” disappointment.

  2. I am so ready for a small swap. I do think that making something for 1 person would be perfect. That way everyone makes one thing and receives one thing. Nobody has to make a whole bunch of blocks or postcards or whatever. It could be a miscellaneous swap – each person deciding what to make for the person who’s name is drawn for them. Crocheter can make a dish cloth, quilter can make a postcard, etc. The point would not to make anything elaborate but something that is their “specialty”.
