  1. That is a lot of blocks for that quilt! I have made one quilt big enough for my husband to use and he never uses it so now I make them for Linus and have a few waiting to be quilted that are for ME.

I always feel really stressed out when I have to go to the store. It takes a lot out of you. Hang in there and keep up your crafty and that will help. I love that you get to read to your granddaughter every day, that’s fantastic.

  2. I also felt that stress and panic when last I went to the grocery store. It took some time for me to shake the feeling. It’s been almost two weeks and I’m not looking forward to the next time!

Amber is the maker of the round ripples! I’m sure she’ll be delighted you’re making one, too.

That temperature blanket is something else. Hard to believe it’s already April!

Enjoy the quilt along, your fabrics look so fun!

  3. I saw your blocks on instagram. I really like them. If you run out of Christmas fabric let me know. I have a bag of Christmas scraps. I doubt I’ll ever use it. I don’t know what sizes you need but I think these would be large enough. I can drop it in the mail or porch drop it for you.

Amber makes the “pointy” circles. I love the pattern, I haven’t a clue how to make it but like the way they turn out.

The store or any outing is filled with anxiety. The last outing I had to do was for lab blood work and I just wanted to bolt out of the building. I was a complete wreck. Thankful I have managed do my shopping online since. I am dreading the next time I have to go to the doctors office. Right now she is letting me put it off until June.

I love that you get to read to Charlotte everyday. My kids would have loved that as younger ones. What a nice way to make her day and yours.

  4. Love the round ripple afghan… it’s going to look great.

Reading with Charlotte sounds like such a nice way to spend some of your week days .. I don’t remember either of my grandmother’s reading to me, but I’d have loved that as a kid! (Not as good as actually going to grandma’s house, but better than nothing for sure!)
