I’m glad I’m not alone. It would have made such a difference in how long it took me and how much I enjoyed it. I made 2 blocks at a time and it was just 10 seams each! I’m very happy with it.
Thanks. Sometimes I look at it and think, “You couldn’t have looked for a few more minute and found something that wasn’t pink zebra?”–but then…I had no idea what to do with that fabric for a long time and now it found a home and I like it.
Thanks. It is one of several I am just really enjoying right now. Now that I can see some things that have been hiding on my design walls for months behind other things I have now finished, I’m back to working on my strip-swap hearts as my “in between” when I’m piecing. It should come together fairly quickly, because I’m working on a series of free lessons on EQ (I didn’t mean to, I was just looking, and then I was going to design it but not make it, and then here I am with purchased fabric). It’s going to be a lot of piecing, and I don’t want to get too much going between my pressings, so I’ll be working on that one.
That is so darn cute!! I love it!

Thanks. I think so, too. I just saw it, changed the design, grabbed some fabric, and there it was! Love projects like this.

Very cute heart quilt! I would 100% have done the same, bringing the size up to 2.5… 1.5″ can be rough to wrangle.

I am also not a fan of 1 1/2″ strips unless I’m paper piecing!
The quilt looks great, I really like the photos you chose.

I totally would have switched it to 2.5″ as well. I have a die that cuts 1.5″ strips but I prefer working with the 2.5″. It came out really cute!
