  1. Iโ€™m still giggling. What a fantastic way to get new furniture ๐Ÿ˜‚ The triangle area of NC is a great place to live.

I love love the circles! Itโ€™s pretty and unique. I have only quilted a handful of batik quilts. What I do remember is the long arms can behave differently on the right weaves. Just make sure you test a small area for tension issues. Sometimes the needle size or tension needs fiddling to get it right.

    Happy Crafting

  2. The circles are absolutely gorgeous and you know your sister-in-law will never notice the difference. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love how excited you are about new furniture! That was originally our plan, too, but neither of our kids wanted our furniture so we ended up giving away some and recycling some!

  3. I really love the circles. I love the look of curved piecing but haven’t really done any. Mauybe this is the year I try. Good to know it’s more difficult with batiks BEFORE I make the effort, so thanks for that tip!

Way to go getting some new furniture. Mine’s pretty trashed, I doubt my daughter would want it, lol.

  4. Love your circle quilt! I have done a little curved quilting, but it was with gentler curves and I found that I prefer straight lines. I also like your t-shirt quilt. Well done you!!!

I giggled at your getting new furniture. I told Tim some time ago that when we no longer had children or pets in the house, I wanted a new living room set. So a couple of weeks ago we ordered a new sofa and chair. It’s supposed to be delivered on the 10th and I can’t wait. Believe it or not, this will be my very first brand new living room set. We’ve always had hand-me-downs or bought second hand.
