I was thinking about you when I was watching the sports section on the news. I was thinking Yep, Sarah is going to be jumping up and down 🤣. I was raised in a huge Yankee family. My father was friends with the coach and many players back in the 70’s and 80’s. They came to our family bar/restaurant a bunch of times. I guess since they are done I’ll root for your Astros. At least they’re not the Red Sox 🤣.
So happy to hear that the blood clot is gone. I loved your quilt when I saw It on Instagram.
Not really into the world series but knew you would be excited to get to keep working on your Astros projects. So great to hear that clot is gone. I hope the trend keeps improving and gets him totally on the mend.
Ummm…what if I were slightly rooting for the Nationals just a little bit? Could we still be friends? I live in St. Louis so we are rabid Cardinals fans here, so even though the Nationals beat us, I think we just aren’t legally allowed to root for the Astros. But at this point it looks like it’s probably gonna be good news your your guys!

Love the charity quilt finish. But thinking about a 16-patch that ends up at 4 & 1/2 inches–that means those are 1 inch finished squares right? Tiny little guys! Pretty impressive.
My main team is the Twin since I grew up watching them & going to the games with my dad. But we are super excited and having a blast watching the Astros. They are gonna win!
Yes baseball season is over and I’m in ‘mourning’ ! Astros lost World Series. Still love my team and there’s always next year. I’m also missing watching the games!
