Ugh, I have had to pick out lots of stitches. Unquilting is just not fun. Sorry you had that issue. What a pain! But the quilt looks great! I love quilting with the serpentine stitch.
I just love the quilt, to me it looks like a reversible quilt because the back has just as much detail!! I have had my fair share of picking out threads, but worth it in the end. They are gonna love it.

Oi, picking out quilting is no joke! I’ve had to do that before, too, and it is a real chore.
