  1. When I have done walking foot quilting, I’ve marked with blue painters tape and stitched along the edge of the tape. I’ve also just stitched using the original seam line as the line to line up the edge of my foot. I don’t ever mark with a pencil or anything for that kind of quilting. I think the tape is my favorite. And that quilt looks FANTASTIC! It’s really a great candidate for straight line quilting because you want to quilt in a way that emphasizes the piecing rather than the quilting. Because the piecing is stunning.

What a fantastic idea for the scrap fabric! Scraps are all color coded, I love it!

  2. I love those stars SO MUCH. I keep saying that and it’s still true!

I’ve also used tape for quilting. There was a craft show I watched probably 20 years ago where the host called it “ruler on a roll.” I always loved that!

Love that scrap bin holder! Being organized helps so much.

  3. The star quilt is wonderful! If you don’t point out what you think are mistakes, no one would every notice. You did a great job!
Your fabric baggies are beautiful! Really makes your workspace fun.
I look forward to seeing what you work on next!
