  1. The bunny is very sweet and your quilting looks great. Oof, 8 quilts! That is excellent!

I’ve always been fascinated by the collage technique in quilting. I’ve done a bit for postcards, which is about as big as I can handle! Your piece looks lovely.

  2. I love both your collage pieces. It seems like a great way to use scraps but I feel like I would probably be frozen with indecision all the time on what to use! lol

Your decision on the long arm makes sense. I hope you get a good deal on your favorite! I’m still shopping around, it sucks living in the middle of nowhere. Much less variety available, so it will likely be mailorder.

  3. Just LOVE the bunny! That’s a TON of quilts.
The second one is beautiful. I prefer mitered corners, and find them easier, unless the quilt just needs more squareness.
That collage quilt looks like so much fun! Like painting with fabric. Great sparkliness. I also really like the idea of stretching it on a canvas so that it retains its look of a painting. One day I’m going to be brave enough to do The Big Dream, and I want to stretch it instead of binding it. Then just hang it on a hook like a painting. I haven’t seen many others that would look great with that method…until yours. I just just really, really in love with that one.
You are just a quilting MACHINE right now! Just one masterpiece after another. I have been without power for 8 days, so no sewing for me at all (except 3 frustrating hours with Molly today…she’s having computer issues). I’m at that point where I have so many things I just need to sew, and I’m going stir-crazy without my machines.
Have a great week and remember to show us all your finishes next week.

  4. WOW! All three of those quilts are wonderful! You have been a busy lady. I am especially in love with the iris art quilt. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to do something like that. It is simply amazing. I love the sparklies!!!

  5. I was intimidated at first, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. I’ve got some tiger lilies in my yard and I want to try my hand at making them.
