TTMT #315 – jewells68 – June 18, 2019 – Fun with Fragments

I’ve been piecing piecing piecing! And Cutting Cutting Cutting! And now that I have a new-to-me extension table for my grandquilter I hope soon to be quilting quilting quilting. Camera cut off while I was filming and it took me a while to notice, and I decided to just edit what I had rather than film again tomorrow.

    1. Thanks! When I bring fabric home from Linus I like to piece it into a top as quickly as possible, otherwise it languishes in my fabric bins for years. I got lucky and found a used extension table at Amazon Warehouse for a third of what they usually cost and I’m glad I went for it because it fits perfectly!

  1. That’s a lot of sunbonnets. I agree you’ve done your share.
So I love all of your finishes. The bunnies between “plates” disturbed me for a minute, until I realized the kitties make it all okay. The red&bluework turned out soooo nice.
I bet you’re loving your new extension table.
Looking forward to hearing about your space panels.
    Have a great week.

  2. Yay for productivity! Since we’ve talked about what you’re working on, all my comments are kind of redundant. That’s what I get for not watching until Thursday!! *glomps*

DOUBLE YAY FOR THE EXTENSION TABLE! I hope it makes all the difference in the world!

    1. Yep, need to finish piecing the space quilt (because I just can’t handle working on piecing more than one thing at a time, lol) clean and oil the pfaff, and then I can start alternate quilting Linus stuff with piecing the memory quilt to keep the shoulder from siezing up completely. I will say this, I don’t think this is the same table that comes standard with machines, it’s heavier and bigger than what I’ve seen. Which is excellent.

  3. That’s so excellent about the extension table for your machine… isn’t it fantastic when something just works out like that?

The quilts with the cheater panel stuff in them both turned out well. I’m telling you you’re a rockstar at putting together weird bits and pieces and turning them into something worthwhile.

  4. I’m way behind, so all my comments about the projects have already been mentioned. I have that same extension table and am able to use it with my Necchi machine too. I love it to take to workshops.
