TTMT Video

TTMT #521 – 521 on 5/21

I’m probably more amused by my title than I should be. 😛

Also, I recorded this yesterday because I was stuck at home waiting for UPS. I say “today” several times. That would now be yesterday. 😉

  1. Of course, I love the Star Trek Rows. It is a pretty intense quilt. I think two week per row is appropriate even without RSI.

Oh my gosh I love the Spider-Man quilt. The quilting is so fun. Nice job

Sorry you machine is up to mischief! I hope the turn around is fast for you.

How fun to have a mini TTMT day at Linus.

Happy Crafting & hope you enjoyed your week with the boy. I know my week wasn’t long enough!

    1. I’m so glad to be back to working on Star Trek! I was working on a separate project, too, when I blew out my arm, and UGH, I won’t do that again!

The Spiderman quilt! I loved making it so much. It came together like magic and really brightened my week!

I recorded this yesterday, which I don’t think I ever said in the video, and my machine is already on it’s way out of Texas. With any luck, it will be back by the end of next week.

I see Silly Sarah a couple of times a week, but Sarah from Houston is a rare treat! It was nice to have them both in one place at the same time!

Ugh, I am trying to not be gloomy about taking my kiddo back to school. I know it’s the best choice for him, but poor me! 😉

  2. Spiderman is so fantastic. How serendipitous that all came in the mail AND you had the symbol in your orphan blocks! Hey that’s the name for the quilt… Serendipitous Spiderman!

That is so fun that you got to have a mini TTMT meetup. 2 Sarahs in the same day! 😉

Susan was so generous. So many good things will come from all that fabric. Just part of the whole “pay it forward” that I love so much about our group.

Star Trek is looking good. You are such a go getter and want to finish all the things, but your body is trying to get you to take your time and enjoy the ride. It’s not a race, and sometimes deadlines just have to get spread out further.

Boo for sending the machine away, but what a fantastic note to end on with the Spiderman. When it comes home you will have just that much more for it to quilt.

    1. Ha, thanks for naming the quilt! 😉

I have done zero sewing so far this week. The foot didn’t take kindly to the Dallas jaunt, so I’ve been staying off it. I don’t know about my body wanting me to take time, I think it’s actually falling apart, but that is another conversation.

The machine arrived in Utah yesterday. Fingers crossed for to being back soon! I’m going to take advantage of it being gone to move and clean under my frame and paint the garage wall. 🙂

  3. That Spiderman quilt is wonderful! I like Jewels’ name for the quilt.

Your Star Wars quilt is coming along very nicely! I really do need to get back to it. That would make a nice 50th Anniversary for my hubby in December.

Please take care of yourself and don’t overdo it.

I hope your machine comes home soon and you can get back to the quilting.

  4. LOVE the Spiderman quilt. We just saw Avengers yesterday so I’m all in for Spiderman. Someone is going to be ecstatic about that. Was great to see you and meet Sarah

  5. That Spiderman quilt is very cute… looks perfect. Funny how it all came together so quickly 😀 So too bad about your machine though… I hope it’ll be one it’s way back to you soon!

The clover quilts you showed are really nice… that second one has such a different look without the sashing.
