  1. You can’t go wrong with Disney. I’m so glad your trip was all you hoped it would be and all you planned for. I could soar with them over and over all day…a great way to relax. On special occasions like that, I liked to take all the photos and put them in one of the books you order online and then buy one for each child and one for me. I scrapbooked generally, but special events I liked to keep together and separate. Haunted Mansion is another favorite of mine. It never changes and never gets old. Years ago, I took my Dad on Star Trek, and he didn’t like roller coaster. After he told me I “tricked” him, he said he enjoyed it.

I hope you can figure out what’s going on with your daughter soon so you can address it and learn what you need to know about it. Sorry you (and she) are having to deal with this.

Love the tea tray–it’s only backwards to you so it’s right for us to read. LOVE the cross-stitching

So great to see you back home. Have a great week..

  2. I’m so glad you had such a wonderful holiday at Disney. It sounds like your family had a lovely time.

    The tea tray is lovely.

Your back to front frame is fine when we watch it. You’re seeing it in mirror image, but we’re not. šŸ˜‰

I’ll be thinking of you and the family and hoping that you have some answers soon for sweet Miss H.

  3. Good to see you! Iā€™m so glad Disney was an great experience. I canā€™t imagine anyone not enjoying it. Itā€™s so fun to see the joy in the kids when they have a cool experience. You will always cherish it.

Hugs to you while you figure out whatā€™s going on with Hannah. I have three kids and each one has ā€œsomethingā€ that had to be DXed and dealt with a one point or another. Several of those things are life long things. Itā€™s so stressful as a parent to feel the intense worry for our kids. All we want to do is make everything ok for them and itā€™s not always possible. What I can tell you is the process of figuring it out was harder for me. The answers actually made everything easier for me. I felt like I could do something with the information vs not knowing. Iā€™m sorry you are going through this and feel free to DM if you need to vent.

Your cross stitch is lovely and I love the fandoms!

Happy Crafting and good to see you.

  4. I am so glad y’all had such a great trip. I’m sure your little girl will treasure those memories.

I only wish I had recognized (or a teacher or dr had) in my daughter that we have figured out since she started college because now insurance won’t cover any diagnosis. She p”passed” under the radar for so many years that now she’s going to have to work on getting that diagnosis as an adult. They just didn’t look for those signs in girls as much as boys. I think that has improved since then but that doesn’t really help her now does it. You have to be an advocate for your little ones and I wish I had done a better job of that myself. Probably my biggest regret from her early childhood. So well done you for seeing and listening and doing. She’ll remember that later in life.

I love the xstitch and the vinyl. I was recently seriously tempted to get the brother scan n cut but talked myself out of it.

  5. Sounds like yā€™all had a wonderful Disney experience. There are a few characters for the boys but It is definitely princesses all the time.

I hope they can figure out whatā€™s going on with your daughter as soon as possible. Itā€™s a stressful process.

  6. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Glad you all had fun.
As a teacher, I’m so glad you are getting your daughter the help she needs. As your daughter goes through school, there will be some educators you will need to help understand her needs, others will know a lot more. As a mom, you really have to be her advocate (as others have shared). I know it was a real comfort to learn that my son’s problems (ADHD and the problems that presented for him) were not his or my fault and were nothing to be embarrassed by. It made his behaviors understandable.
    Hang in there.
