  1. AHHHH, I’m so glad to see your Star Trek quilt on the wall! I’ve had to take a long break from paper piecing (dumb RSI!!!) and I’m living vicariously through you right now! Your fabrics are absolutely perfect and I genuinely can’t wait to see what it looks like assembled. ♥

I also don’t really enjoy making giant projects more than once. I really have to push myself to do that.

    GREAT shirt, btw.

  2. Lol I love shirts like this one. Every once in awhile someone notices it, but generally they don’t. Which is what cracks me up.

I have truly enjoyed the Star Trek RAL. I just keep petting my design wall ☺️

I made the iPhone quilt twice because believe it or not I gave my original away🤦🏻‍♀️ No idea what the heck I was thinking but I did it. So I made another for me. The POD was one for my middle kidddo and one for a charity raffle. But yeah I generally am one and done.

  3. Star Trek is gorgeous!! Love the borders. Definitely custom quilting. I suggest that you not start it until you know exactly what you want, so you don’t wish you had done something else.

I can make 2 of something at a time and not even notice it, but starting over never interests me.

I REALLY miss quilting with my friend in Minnesota (she’s in Colorado now). Nothing more fun for me to spend the day visiting and sewing with a friend.

I so enjoy watching you talk about how much fun you are having.

    Have a great week.

  4. The only quilt I have made twice is the PoD, and it was during the two different QALs with the different layouts, and original one hand embroidered (MINE) and my daughter’s was the castle and with just a few painted titles, most of the books I didn’t put titles on. I keep meaning to make just the poster part of the xfiles quilt as a wall-hanging but haven’t managed that yet, lol.
