  1. I haven’t finished Hocus Pocus, and I started at the beginning and didn’t take a break. No pressure. Yours is coming along, and one block at a time will get you/us there.

The quilting on your log cabins looks wonderful. I love the flowers.

I was on that fence with you on Star Trek. I love Star Trek but didn’t need another project. But then I saw its face….now I’m a believer. I’ve got to do it, but I may start a week or two late.

Looking forward to watching the progress on your projects. Have a great week.

  2. I love the colors on the small piece of the log cabin that we were able to see. I know what you mean about being on the fence about starting a new project, but I always seem to get sucked in 🙂 Happy quilting!

  3. Darn your hair looks cute!

I hope your mother-in-law is healing up nicely.

Ahhh, the flower design you’re quilting is what I’ve been doodling for my Sweet Reflections quilt! I’m planning to practice on a couple of Linus quilts next.

I’m going to be quilting along with the Star Trek event, but at my own pace. I don’t want to get stressed out about doing it! Aside from my background fabric, I’m using all batiks from my stash. I’m on a quilt diet and am doing my best to buy NOTHING. The dresser I store my fabric in is in danger of exploding!

Also, thank you for buying a t-shirt! It really does help me offset the costs of FiS and it almost always gives me enough to give away a free shirt, which I love getting to do!

  4. Hope your M-I-L is doing well. I never ended up jumping into the Hocus Pocus Quilt along and as much as I want to do Star Trek, I’m not sure I should. I love either some much but I’m working very hard on not over committing myself much this year. We have a lot of things up in the air in our house. I don’t have to be dealing with the unexpected and working tot many quilt along. Plus I have fabric for a Legend of Zelda quilt I haven’t made along with a few non Fandom projects.
That said I completely lost my m9nd when I saw the layout! I love it soooo much.

I can’t wait to see your finished swap quilt. I think it will be completely fabulous. Your flowers are looking great.

    Happy Crafting

  5. Your quilting on the log cabin is beautiful. And your Hocus Pocus quilt is coming along nicely. I know what you mean about the Star Trek quilt. I had planned to make this one from the beginning but when I saw the layout I was thrilled! My hubby will love this quilt! I’m getting my background fabric today and starting the quilt either this evening or tomorrow. I’m hoping to keep it secret from Tim, but don’t know if that will be possible since we live in such close quarters and are with each other pretty much 24/7.

  6. Your flower quilting is looking really lovely. You are getting so good with your FMQ!

I’m glad you are quilting along. I decide not to but am leaning toward changing my mind as I see all the fun versions of the rows get posted on the group.

    Enjoy your tee!

  7. Your Hocus Pocus blocks are still turning out great.. I love seeing that Tula fabric in such a fun project.

I love how your log cabins are turning out! The quilting is really great and the thread is gorgeous! I’m glad you figured out the right tension for it! Also, loved seeing my hula girls on the quilt 😀
