TTMT 1/8/19: Back to Normal (or as normal as I get)

  1. Working on a new project board, but first I need to pull out all of my UFOs, orphan blocks and stuff to see what I have and decide the priority for finishing.  Chris’s messenger bag will be the first project other than quilts.  I know that the first 2 quilts will be the tee shirt quilt and my nephew’s POD.
  2. I can’t walk in my sewing room so another priority is to get it a bit more organized.
  3. My word for this year is Joy! I am basically a happy person but occasionally I become a bit down, or find things a bit tedious.  This year I hope to find joy in everything I do in my sewing room (even the dreaded tee-shirt quilt). If I’m not exactly joyful while making it, I’ll try to remember the joy I will feel when it is finished, and when I give it to Matai.

  1. It sounds like you have your eye issues in hand. Good luck with that.
That messenger back quilting IS very dense. Can’t wait to see that finished.
    Have a great week.

  2. I am so glad you are feeling better! It stinks to be sick during the holidays when there is so much going on and people to spend time with.

Happy NEw Year and good luck with ALL THE THINGS . 😉

  3. It is so good to see you again! I’m glad you’re feeling better. Oh, lady your eyes! I hope new glasses really help. I do understand wanting to wait until you have to to have surgery, too.

Oof, that is some serious quilting, I like it!

Looking forward to seeing your strips!

  4. Boy, I thought I was only a month behind on videos, but holy smoke I’m way behind. I can’t wait to see how that electronics tote turns out!
