  1. I’m so glad you and your grandson got to enjoy movie times together. I haven’t seen a movie at the theater for many years now. I am tempted to take a morning off and go see Fantastic Beasts next week.

That shawl is really fun! I am glad you are enjoying knitting it. It’s hard when you take over most of the adulting for your parent(s). So I’m glad you have your knitting to help you stay on an even keel.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Oh I love that shawl! It’s really fun. I can’t wait to see Fanastic Beast 2. I loved the first movie so much. We planned to go after Thanksgiving Dinner but I woke sick today. We may have to change those plans. Glad you were able to enjoy all those movies with your grandson.

The suitcase FB quilt was designed by Vanda. I just tested for her. So I was done before the Quilt a long started. It is hands down one of my very favorite quilts I have ever made including my own designs. I made both the 5 in and 10 in versions. The 5 is a bit more challenging due to the size but a perfect wall hanging size.

    Happy Thanksgiving! And Happy Crafting!

  3. Sarah, I do hope you start having some “stress free” time soon. You guys have been through the mill lately.
Your knitting is, as usual, superb! That shawl is great. But my favorite thing is the little witch. She is adorable.
I am so looking forward to sharing Harry Potter with Garrick. I guess I’ll have to wait a few years. Tim and I went to see Fantastic Beasts II on Monday. I thought it was great too. The only problem I have with it, and with movies in general nowadays, is that there is so much background noise in the movies that I can’t hear what the characters are saying much of the time. It may be because at my age, my hearing ain’t what it used to be.

  4. Love the idea of a goldfish memory shawl…sure would take the boredome out of the project. It looks great.
Love the witch. I always thought flags would be fun. Looking foward to seeing yours as the seasons pass.
