  1. Oh the shawl is looking really good. I think it is going to be gorgeous when your are done.
I always use white or off white batting as well. Every once in a while I’ll get it through like that. It definitely could be the needle or going deeper, The wall hanging is really pretty. I’m sure it will look good however you finish.

    Oh yummy socks you’ve started!

Happy Crafting and I hope your headache stays away!

    1. I was wondering if the batting may have changed. I use Warm & White but I usually buy it by the roll. This time I bought a small craft size package and it feels a bit different. Strange. I’m enjoying knitting the shawl. I hope the recipient enjoys it as well.

  2. Migraines suck!!! I used to have them often, but not since the hysterectomy 5 years ago. I’m not sure if that’s what did it or if it was the chemo that knocked it out. All I know is that it was a great side effect of a lousy time.
I love that shawl – the grey-diation and the lacy pattern. The hat is very nice too. But my favorite of the week is the unicorn. That is going to be beautiful when finished.

    1. Migraines definitely suck. I used to get them once or twice a year but after I hurt my neck I get them more often. I actually have a constant headache but it’s usually bearable. I can’t think straight when it gets bad. I guess that’s one bonus to the chemo. Definitely not a fun time. I do enjoy working on the unicorn. I’m actually finishing up the stitching while watching this week’s videos 😉

    1. Thanks Sarah! Knitting to the next color is definitely a great way to keep on track. It’s always fun to see the next color popping up on the needles. I thought people were crazy when they said they knit striped socks faster but then I knit a stripe sock and they were so right. It’s all a weird mind trick but it works so that’s all that matters.

  3. Love the hat and shawl. Still trying to get to my wall hangings. Notice how fast the time is flying now.
Sorry you are having migraines. I dealt with them from my twenties on. Some so bad that my husband and kids had to hang blankets in the window so I would stop crying from the light. Recently I started doing Keto diet and have not had a migraine in 4 weeks. So hoping this continues.
Love the QAYO rectangles! The batting showing issue on mini could be the needle or maybe that particular piece of batting. Let us know what you discover.

    1. Thanks Aileen! Migraines are tough. I’m not surprised that changing your diet helped. I wish that would work for me but these have started because of the nerve injury in my neck. I hear several people talking about keto diets and how certain parts of their health have improved. You need to get on the ball with your mini quilts lol. The holidays are sneaking up on us too quick.

    1. Thanks Jennifer! I’ll try the lint roller idea. I’ve been wondering if it might be the batting. I used to buy Warm & White on the giant rolls but this time I bought a small craft size package. The batting feels a bit thicker than what I’m used to. It’s all weird lol.

  4. When I have had a bit of bearding It usually disappears when I wash the quilt. If you aren’t going to wash it then lint roller would be my next suggestion.

Grey-diated Shawl is looking good. 😉

That’s a good idea for embroidery. Do your least favorite part first so all that is left is your favorite part!

  5. Thanks Jewells! I’ll try a lint roller to see if that helps. It would be a nice simple fix. I learned a long time ago that if I left the part I didn’t want to do until last the project never gets done. I do the same thing with dinner. I save my favorite food for last lol.
