Quick Hullo!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well? I am posting here, as my emails are not going through to everyone.

I taped a video last week and this week, but was getting emotional, so will just post some words here. Don’t want to put you all through 12 minutes of crying.

Thank you so much everyone for your TTMT birthday blocks. I think i just got the slip for the last one yesterday, just need to get time to get to the post office. I will share a video next week with all the blocks.

It has been crazy these last couple of months, again. Yes!
Mostly, it has been family things. My mum is in high care at the moment, after an operation. We had months of Dr. and specialist appointments for her knees and spine. She has been in a lot of pain. And we will need a lot of aftercare, which my dad and myself will share.

Then some major upheavals in the scouts, that I am involved in, has got me to the point that I want to leave the organization. Which is devastating to me, as I am very passionate about the movement, but the politics there now is unbearable.

And am also right in the middle of a really nasty court case, which is taking forever to be resolved. Which I can’t talk about online here, you can email or pm me if you would like hear about this issue. Really very unhappy about this one.

And then a sudden renewed spirit and faith, has me unexpectedly studying Anglican Theology, yeah… how about becoming a priest… what! And at my age… I am absolutely loving it though.

I am just so happy that I can get time to sew again, my sewing mojo was gone for so long now.

I am hoping that the forced timeline in the Fall into a qal coming up, will kick start me a bit.

Followed by the My Favorite Place Row Along in July.

Have started designing some more Star Trek designs for the Qal next year on FIS, so happy with that. Just need to finish some of them off, so that the testing can start.

And I have 1 quarter of my mum’s purple quilt to finished and then quilt, then I can have another finish for the year,.

Good news! My son finally found a job and he is loving it, and doing well, after a year and a half of being without work.
