Hi everyone,
This is actually last weeks video, that was forgotten, while I had the stomach flu.
I did a lot of editing on this, and looks a bit choppy. Still learning to edit properly. At least I got it down from 20 to 5 minutes.
Love you all.

I love that pattern, do you have a link where to find it? The blues you used are really nice.
I can’t decide if I’d trade our 31 degrees for your 96 or not, but I’d be tempted to. π

The Cross is beautiful! I hope you are feeling better.
That heat remind me of summers in Houston. I like the warm weather but not the humidity. In general, we donβt see that kind of humidity often in my part of North Carolina. The temperature can get that high but the humidity is usually not that high. I hope you have some decent rain and relief soon!

The flying geese are fabulous and I really can’t wait to see your My Favorite Things all put together!
Project Board movement, yay!
The new quilt is lovely backlit. I can see why you like it.
I had heard about the drought and I do hope you get some rain soon. We’ve been through similar, though not quite as severe, circumstances.
Feel better, friend. β₯

To tell the truth, I could stand a little of that heat right about now. We’ve had a couple of really cold days here and I’m a summer kind of girl. Woke up this morning to a wintry surprise – snow and ice that I wasn’t expecting. Thankfully it was gone by noon.
That cross – stunning! Love all the different shades of blue.
I am looking forward to seeing the My Favorite Things quilt.

The drought is concerning. We are WAY behind in our precipitation this winter and are all concerned about the coming summer months and the increased risks of fires.
It’s good to see things moving on the project board!
Take care of yourself, I hope you are feeling better.

The cross quilt looks really lovely.. the colours are really nice together and yay! for sewing with stash! Its amazing how well things come together with stash. Things work that don’t seem like they’re going to, sometimes.
I hope the weather improves soon! Humidity like that with heat makes me feel awful.. I come from a really dry part of Canada though so dry heat and dry cold don’t bother me too much, but add that humidity in and I just want to die. I’ve read in the news about the drought in Cape Town, which I know is a fair ways off from you, but it’s scary nonetheless. I hope the rains have come for you!
