  1. I literally snorted at your PODs a like a bag of chips comment! They are! I love the wand book with the Hogwarts Crest. All your blocks look fantastic. Happy quilting ๐Ÿ˜

I have to message for you a coffee date soon.

  2. You can say you’re from anywhere you like. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Quilt blocks are like potato chips, aren’t they?

I have a big sewing room clean up coming soon. Whew, it needs it!

It’s good to hear Garrick and momma are doing so well!

I like your sweatshirt. Super cute and perfect title. ๐Ÿ˜›

  3. Susie Quilts sounds like the name of a blog.

I really like the wand block with the crest but sorting hat blocks will always be my favorite. I just love the sorting hat lol.

Iโ€™m one of those crafters that need a basically cleanish craft room to create. Or at least the tables and center are needs to be cleared out ๐Ÿ˜‰ my craft room would be better oraganized if I had some shelves.

I love playing with scraps. Partly because It doesnโ€™t matter if you mess up because hey theyโ€™re just scraps.

  4. I tend to put scraps into their little container and then forget about them until the container gets to overflow. I really need to either give some away or figure out what to do with them. I haven’t gotten into scrappy quilts but I might have to sooner or later.

  5. Good job clearing out the stuff. My daughter has been doing that since coming home from school and I need to take a carload to goodwill soon to make room for more clearing.

The sweatshirt is too cute! It’s big enough on you now you could cut it up the sides and then sew them back together. It would make it fit snugger and get rid of the hole in one fell swoop!

Suziquilts was your LJ name wasn’t it? I remember that being your user name when you first joined TTMT.

  6. And I did think you had a shop! You say it with pride and confidence… LIKE A BOSS!!! lol I meant to reply sooner but I wasn’t online much for a few days. If you still have scraps to pass along, I can find s home for them. I hated no problem covering the shipping cost… just let me know
And we would never have seen the hole without you directing attending to it! Besides don’t top designers sell ripped clothes?! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  7. The blocks look really great! It seems like you’re having a lot of fun with them…. why not continue making a few more ;D

Cute sweatshirt! It’s too bad about the hole, but that sweater really is way too big on you – you could probably do a Jennifer shirt reconstruction and have one that fits well left behind.

    1. I would love to continue but I have 2 other quilts I need to make in the next couple of months, so I made an executive decision to make it a bit smaller. When I called my nephew’s new wife, I asked her if they would like a Harry Potter wall hanging and she seemed thrilled. I almost made it lap-sized, but decided not to.

After stitching a seam where the hole was, it looks okay.
