    1. Thanks! I probably could have done it without the interfacing, but since the hole went all the way through the batting and back I figured better safe than sorry, and it doesn’t scream PATCH! until you get right up close. I’m sure he won’t mind spitting up on a patch, lol.

  1. Woo, turtle quilt, woo! Definitely better late than never. It really did turn out cute. The wavy lines really did turn out great. Always happy to bounce ideas back and forth. 😀

Oh, the back fabric is great and the patches barely show up. Well done!

  2. Yep, still love the turtles. I’m going to miss them but I’m sure Sawyer will love them. There’s some fun blues and turtles for him to look at. I love wavy quilting on water type quilts. So simple but it has a big impact with lots of movement. The patch looks great. I’ve patched my fair share of quilts and I’m sure there will be more in the future.

    1. Thanks! I think filming that bit really calmed me down about how the patch looks. It really isn’t obvious until you are up close, or in the case of the back of the quilt, really looking for it. I’m sure it will be fine.
