The insurance company is giving me just enough of a settlement to replace the carpet (it’s only the commercial/industrial kind in there, nothing fancy) and do some repairs. Sooo…sooner or later it’ll all be fixed up and ready for me to start sorting through the huge amounts of junk, er, I mean valuable resources, woo! Interestingly, I found a sign on Ebay yesterday that said, “Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way” which seemed appropriate – it’s going in there on the wall as soon as I move the mountain of everything back in. 🙂 I promise once the repairs are done I’ll make a video. Stay crafty, my friends!

I’m glad you are going to be able to do the needed repairs and replace the carpet. Unfortunately sometimes it takes something big to motivate us to make needed changes. You will soon have an all new space!

I am glad to hear you will get insurance help to cover your rebuild/repair. It’s nice when insurance actually does what it’s supposed to do.

I hope things are still moving along with the repairs (or done, better yet, but I know that can take a while if a lot of people have had similar issues all at once). I hope the clean-up/sort-through hasn’t been too overwhelming!
