Hey All!
First of all sending positive vibes to Snowie44/Terry and her family at this difficult time. May they find strength and comfort in each other’s love.

Can you believe I put out a video that wasn’t 15 minutes long?!?! I’m totally shocked…Lol I talked over 17 minutes…lots of editing 😏

I hope you all have a productive week!

Happy crafting!

  1. Oh, I love your shirt.

I do hope that the PoD 2018 works out for you. I love how excited everyone has been so far. πŸ™‚

I saw all of your posts about your Dad after he was home. I was so glad for you that he was okay. That’s just so very scary.

Lots of crossed fingers for your plans to get a new machine!

Your curly hair is absolutely adorable, no wonder you want to go back to your curls.

    1. Thanks, it was a nice preChristmas Wal-Mart find! Once I get past thinking it to smithereens the PoD will move along at a decent pace. When I did the 1st one, I made a block a day.

Thanks, it was a very scary experience.

I saw a recommendation in the group for a Brother that’s around $550. I can swing that. Next weekend going to our local shop to see if they have it on hand so I can try out.

  2. Hi, I love your shirt and hat.

I can’t wait to see you with your natural hair; the picture is so cute! I prefer natural hair on about everybody; that’s why mine is it’s natural gray.

I’m so glad your dad was found and okay. I know that was a scary incident.

Glad you are going to do the 2018 PoD with us. I am going to make a smallish quilt – just 20 blocks – for my nephew and his wife. I still need to finish my 2015 and 2011 PoDs. I will undertake one of them for the UFO challenge later in the year (probably the 2015). I did work on the 2011 PoD during last year’s UFO challenge, but kind of messed up one row so now I have to decide what to do to fix it.

  3. That must have been so scary with your dad. I am glad you found him and he wasn’t harmed.

The animal print quilt is cute.

I have natural wavy hair in some spots and curl in others, so when it’s long I have a hard time deciding what to do with it all, which is why right now it’s short, then I don’t have to decide. It’s already starting to be long enough to start flipping out. Need it CUT. It’s nice to be able to leave it curly and let it do what it wants, so I can understand your wanting it curly.

Your shirt and hat are awesome!

  4. So glad you found your father. It has to be so upsetting.

LOVE your Lonestar quilt. I’ve never done a lonestar quilt. Intimidated by the diamond shape.

    Happy crafting!

    1. Thank you. Yes it was very upsetting…hoping for the best while preparing for the worst.

Don’t let the lonestar intimidate you. This one is just 3 sets of 3 strips, cut at 45Β° every 2.5 inches…I can share the site I got it from, if you’re interested.

  5. So glad things worked out with your Dad, my oh my you have a busy month ahead of you, so much to do.

I love the wavy hair , when you have straight hair you want it to be wavy , my daughter has curly blond hair and I wish I could have it but she wants it straight like Aurora, bless.

Shirt and hat are great and here hoping you get your spa day xx

  6. I’m not really into animal print fabrics much either, but it looks amazing in that picture (mock up?) of the lone star! They really seem to come together incredibly well.

That’s so scary about your father… dementia is such an awful thing. I hope you’re able to find a good safe place for him.

    1. Yeah I guess it takes a special kind of person to be all into the animal prints! lol

Totally scary for sure! His new meds have helped him sleep thru the night and we found a great respite program at a memory care facility – he will start next week! Thank you for your concern.
