TTMT Video

TTMT #73 Swaps, Memory Quilts and Packages

Hi everyone,

I finally managed to get a video done. Only took 10 tries.

In saying that, I am sorry that the video is 20 minutes long. After so many tries, I just gave up trying to make it shorter. Promise that future ones will be shorter.

Hope everyone is having a happy sewing and crafty week.

Vanda

  1. Vanda, dear, you have such an amazing perseverance and attitude, and I wish happiness and peace to you in the next near, you so deserve it. *hugs*

You accomplished so much this year, you have much to be proud of. I think the name change should work out fine, and you shouldn’t have any issues with someone with the same name popping up so it’s probably a smart move.

I have every confidence that you will accomplish much in the coming year as well, and I look forward to seeing and hearing you again. Happy New Year!

  2. The memory quilt for your niece is really sweet – you can definitely tell what she loved and who she was.

You’ve gotten so many blocks done in the last little while! Wow! They all look impeccable.

That’s a blast from the past, seeing that HP panel! I have a (small) quilt from that same line with the Harry panel, which my mom hand-quilted for me.

I think the new name will work perfectly! It does sound like a ton of work to switch over, though! Yikes.

  3. Your Niece’s memory quilt is such a treasure.

I like how you made your swap blocks by color. They look great together on your wall.

You always get so much done. Your blocks always look so nice and your color choices are lovely. We tend to not realize how much we’ve gotten done until we see how many things have been checked off our lists.

I keep hearing people talk about their sewing plans for next year and I’m always in awe. I have a hard enough time just figuring out what to sew today that I can’t even imagine trying to figure out what to make 10 months from now.

  4. I totally understand going off the diet for Christmas! I made a conscious choice to take a break from it for Christmas. Hopefully I didn’t gain more than a pound or two. I’ll see next Monday.

The memory quilt is amazing. I can understand how difficult it was and it will be a treasure for your brother and his wife.

Sweetie, you have not failed at anything! You may not have made all your goals, but you accomplished so much.

I wish for a bright and happy new year for you!

  5. Wow, what a packed video! I made a list to keep track of everything I want to say.

First, it’s so good to see you again. *hugs*

TTMT swap! Your blocks look great. I do want to say there was a minor update a day or two after the info went out and we now have 10 swappers. So sorry about that!

Your niece’s quilt is just beautiful. I can’t begin to imagine how hard it was to work on. What a beautiful treasure you have created.

I’ve been watching your Fav Things progress and the bag is going to be so fun!

    Yay for Rainbow Cascade progress!

I had completely forgotten about the parcel I sent you. I love that you’re negotiating with your son over postcards. 😁

You are the UFO queen. I have a few more on my list than I thought, it you will hands down! You list of finishes is fantastic. Woo!

I’m intrigued by the FiS mystery you’re working on, oh my!
