After a productive week last week, I’ve been in a bit of a slump this week. I think that part of that is because I’ve been glued to the tv watching coverage of Irma. Finally heard from friends and family there and they all seem to be okay with minimal damage. Still worried about our quilting community friends.
I think my productivity is about to end thanks to a certain Rainbow Cascade challenge; that perked me right up. I have got the pieces precut for 5 blocks, printed out the patterns and am ready to start piecing! So I’m on the mark, set and ready to go!
I’ve received my first birthday FQ and I love it (thank you Jen). I’ll show next week along with any finished projects I have.
I’ve been watching videos and haven’t commented yet but I will.

Are y’all getting any weather from Irma? It seemed like it was sitting on top of Florida all the way up to and across North Carolina.
I am sorry I haven’t mailed yet, but I will try to remember to do that tomorrow. It’s been kind of hectic and my brain always forgets things when life is like this.
Looking forward to seeing your blocks. It’s a really simple block but looks so stunning when it’s finished!

The FQ is perfect. They are planning an animal theme for the nursery. Now I just need to figure out what to make with it.
