TTMT #5 pt 2

Not sure if this went up yesterday, but I’ve been having a heck of a time with this video!

  1. Congratulations on your win! How exciting to wander around the store picking out fat quarters.

With a school that small I can imagine how hard it is to fund raise. Band things can get expensive fast. It’s great that your previous quilt brought in so much. I’ve heard too many stories online where beautiful quilts have raised less than $100 in a raffle.

  2. Congrats on winning! Love that Moda Grunge! Looks like you got a nice selection of different things, anyway. I picked up a few of the more blender type fabrics from Tula Pink’s holiday line, but didn’t get any of the animal prints.

Those cake mix things are really neat aren’t they? I’ve got a couple of them that I’m trying to decide how/with what to use. (I think I’m’ going to use yardage instead of layer cakes, I’ve got soo much fabric it shouldn’t be hard to find something or many somethings.)

The music quilt is looking pretty great.

  3. Congrats on the win! You picked up some really nice FQs and I love Moda grunge!

I have almost picked up one of the cake mixes but haven’t because I just have so many quilts in various stages already that I really really really don’t need to start another one. Well, except the new quilt-along with Jennifer in August and Vanda in September. (I may have the months backwards on those.)

  4. Congrats on your win. I love that they were willing to let you substitute yardage for some of the fat quarters. I love the Moda Grunge and their Concrete line as well. Nice that they worked with you on that. The RbR quilt is fabulous, and the band quilt is really coming along.

  5. Congratulations on the win , can you show the Tula pink stuff a bit more next week , I love me some Tula pink and we don’t get it for ages after you guys. Great quilt to by the way x

  6. Oh wow, you got some really fun fabrics.

The Cake Mixes have been very popular with our charity quilters. πŸ™‚

Graduation quilts are so fun to make. You’re definitely ahead of the curve!

Ah, band! I do miss being a band mom. πŸ™‚
